CDK Builders Inc / Charles D Kuhn have been building custom homes in Marin / Sonoma for over 50 years. Our passion has helped us establish ourselves as a builder who is willing to become part of the “team”, working with owners, architects, owner’s agents and local building officials to develop quality projects on time and on budget. Throughout the years our success has come from understanding the demands that a high quality custom home requires. Open communication and honesty in addition to a supportive management team and a fully trained competent work force are paramount to the success of our projects. Using years of experience combined with modern building techniques including “green” building practices has helped us to develop unique, quality projects.

Over the years we have developed strong relationships with the suppliers and sub-contractors helping us in developing our projects with complete customer satisfaction. I take pride in my personal investment and our “hands on” approach to each project, assuring fine craftsmanship and a project that we can all be proud of for years to come.

Currently we have 28 employees working within our company. Many have been together for over 15 years solidifying our “family” atmosphere within the company. Most of our onsite management team has 30+ years in experience in the field bringing their extensive experience and knowledge to the projects. In addition we have several young personnel working within the company bringing their new education, methods and enthusiasm to the jobs while learning from the best. Being in the area for so long has allowed us to develop relationships with several craftsmen giving us the ability to expand our workforce to accommodate larger projects when necessary.
